1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Resume Inspector ("the Service"), operated by Work Reactor Inc.("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Resume Inspector is an AI-powered platform that helps users create, tailor, and manage resumes and cover letters. The Service includes job description analysis, match scoring, AI-generated document tailoring, and application tracking.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.
  • One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to exploit free credits or promotional offers is prohibited.

4. Credits & Subscriptions

  • The Service operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when using AI-powered features (analysis, generation, tailoring).
  • Free accounts receive a monthly credit allowance. Paid plans provide additional credits and features.
  • Credits reset monthly on your billing date and do not roll over between billing periods.
  • Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and are non-refundable.
  • Manual actions (editing, exporting, duplicating, tracking) are always free and do not consume credits.

5. Payment & Billing

  • Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Existing subscriptions are honored until their next renewal.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@resumeinspector.com for refund requests.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the Service.
  • Abuse rate limits, exploit vulnerabilities, or circumvent security measures.
  • Upload malicious content, spam, or content that infringes on others' intellectual property.
  • Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.
  • Create misleading, fraudulent, or intentionally deceptive resume content.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Your content: You retain ownership of all content you upload or create. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing the Service.
  • AI-generated content: Documents generated by the AI are yours to use. We do not claim ownership of AI-generated output created for your account.
  • Our platform: The Resume Inspector platform, branding, design, and underlying technology are owned by Work Reactor Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws.

8. AI Disclaimer

AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and suggestion. While we strive for accuracy and quality, AI output may contain errors, inaccuracies, or formatting issues. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before submitting it to employers. We are not responsible for outcomes resulting from the use of AI-generated documents.

9. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable, uninterrupted access to the Service. However, we do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

10. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from your settings.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Work Reactor Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, income, or data. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Work Reactor Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
